ABA Section Of Antitrust Law to Address Hot Topics at Consumer Protection Conference

CHICAGO, June 15, 2009 — Protecting privacy and securing information, managing risks in new technologies, and advertising and marketing in challenging times are but a few of the variety of  topics to be addressed during the Consumer Protection Conference, sponsored by the _ Section of Antitrust Law.

Participants include U.S. Rep. Henry Waxman; Former Federal Trade Commission Chairmen Timothy Muris and Robert Pitofsky; FTC Commissioner Pamela Jones Harbour; FTC Consumer Protection Bureau Director David Vladeck; U.S. District Court Judge Thomas Selby Ellis III; and a host of practitioners, enforcers and academics.
