Hispanic-American Lawyer Stephen N. Zack Elected President-Elect of the ABA and Promises to Focus on Civic Education.
Zack proposes new American Bar Academy involving ABA lawyers to help teach civic education in every high school and vows “We will not stop until civics becomes a mandatory part of education for every student in America.” Zack also warned that the high cost of a legal education could make the profession elitist at a time we must look like the people we represent. “We must make legal education affordable for all Americans so they can serve their community.”
