ABA Young Lawyers Division Helping Young Lawyers Take Their Careers to the Next Level
CHICAGO, Feb. 22, 2011 — The _ Young Lawyers Division, in an effort to better prepare new partners and in-house counsel to navigate their new role with greater ease, is hosting its New Partner and In-House Counsel Conference. The conference, to be held Feb. 25 – Feb. 26, is the first of its kind from the Young Lawyers Division and will provide two days of networking and programming on topics such as expectation management, understanding and promoting diversity, ethics, compensation, business development and marketing, project management, detecting fraud and preparing for litigation. Participants consist of lawyers from over 75 law firms and major corporations, including Greenberg Traurig, Holland & Knight LLP, Comcast Corp., Exelon and Verizon Wireless.
