Federal Securities Regulation and Enforcement Are the Focus of the Sixth Annual National Institute on Securities Fraud

WASHINGTON, D.C., Nov. 1, 2011 — In the wake of the financial crisis, enforcement trends continue to change the landscape of federal securities law.  Experts at the _’s Sixth Annual National Institute on Securities Fraud will help navigate this new era of increased enforcement by addressing the evolving regulatory scheme underlying the financial reform legislation, the enforcement trends suggested by recent cases, the priorities of top enforcers and the influence of our current two-party congressional leadership.

Securities fraud experts from the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Securities and Exchange, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Enforcement, judges, prosecutors, regulators, compliance officers, in-house practitioners and defense counsel will discuss the legal and ethical issues that arise in securities fraud matters.
