Former National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell to Speak on Cyberspace Challenges
WASHINGTON, D.C., Jan. 22, 2013 — Former Director of National Intelligence John M. (Mike) McConnell will speak on “America’s Challenges in Cyberspace” at an _ Standing Committee on Law & National Security luncheon program from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Army and Navy Club in Washington, D.C.
McConnell is vice chairman of Booz Allen Hamilton, where his primary roles include leading the firm’s rapidly expanding cyberbusiness and serving on its leadership team. He joined Booz Allen Hamilton after retiring from the Navy in 1996 as a vice admiral. From 2007-2009, he left the firm to serve as the Director of National Intelligence under President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama, respectively.
