FAA Administrator Will Speak on the Future of Aviation and Space Industries
WASHINGTON, D.C., Feb. 20, 2013 — Michael Huerta, the administrator for the Federal Aviation Administration, is the opening keynote speaker at the _ Forum on Air and Space Law’s 2013 Update Conference Feb. 27 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Holly Woodruff Lyons and Giles Giovinazzi from the U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure/Subcommittee on Aviation and Rich Swayze and Bailey Edwards (invited) from the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation/Subcommittee on Aviation Operations, Safety and Security will discuss the priorities of the new Congress during a panel discussion.
Nick Calio, president and CEO of Airlines for America, will give the luncheon keynote address on the concerns and priorities of the airline industry. Other sessions will focus on aviation labor relations and the future of commercial human spaceflight.
