The Betting company Paf was founded in 1966 and is a publically owned company. This is the only betting company that has received a license from the Aland Islands, which is governed by Finland. Paf bases its gambling operations on these islands. Paf also has subsidiaries in Estonia and Sweden.
The company’s revenue goes into the local Aland Islands economy, which helps to support health, sport and development. Around 30 passenger ships travelling in the Baltic region are equipped with gaming rooms from Paf.
Around 20 countries can use Paf’s services. The company has a wide range of online gaming options as well as its sports betting arm, such as a lottery, slot machines and a casino. It also has a well developed version for mobile phones and tablets, which are not available in the betting firm’s full version. Paf uses the KAMBI platform, which is identical to the software used by Unibet.
